As of late , I'm somehow starting to wonder about feedbacks / fake praises / etc.
There are still a few honest people left who really let you have their opinions / feedbacks / constructive criticism , but mostly.. personally for me I feel they're more or less really ..*don't really know what word to use" , saying something that they don't really mean?
So anyway.. here I am sometimes dropping my works on groups and etc hoping to get a few good feedbacks , but usually by now I'm barely getting any. But I notice a lot of "wow you're a professional" "this is so good" "you're so talented" on other average works.
Then somehow.. I got back to thinking that those were more or less the comments I got a long way back, when I was still a beginner. Not so good proportions , simply testing drawing on papers and camera snap shot versions.
I remember a lot of comments like those. Praising you up to the point like you're some future soon to be great artist and etc. I feel those comments somewhat sketchy by now. Are people somewhat just praising cause the work isn't so good and that they feel like they're doing the artist a favor by granting him/her a boost of confidence by writing over praising comments?
I don't mean to say that I'm unhappy those works are getting more views and etc. But I'm just so very curious on how people look at art now. Whether they're just toying around or being serious.
My apologies if this post might sting some of you. But I'm just thinking really hard here.
- confuse and getting disappointed artist. / am I even an artist lol .
